I made a water drop detector to connect with Arduino Yun and the webcam.

My purpose is letting the webcam to take a picture automatically like this when the water drop is detected by the photo interrupter. But I was too idealistic…

The Water drop detector works like this:

But unfortunately, it looked like the camera couldn’t focus when being used as a camera. Even though I already adjust it when I connected it directly to my computer and just used it as a webcam. These are the pictures I got when the webcam triggered by Arduino Yun:
