I want to cut a bear out of the log.

Wood(birch) Lathe

Firstly, I used the band saw to cut off the sharp edges.

Secondly, polish the Chisels.

Thirdly, I mounted the wood log by a 4 Jaw Chuck, which clamped down on one end of the log. Then I polished the log into a rough cylinder.

PS: the lathe should turn toward myself (turn forward).

Unfortunately, the wood cracked during the process.
