Inspired by this tutorial, and this 3d printing, I decided to make a soap holder like this:

I learnt one useful command: SetPt>Set z & align to world. This will make all the control point on the same surface.

I have three questions:

1.How to close an open curve? When I was doing loft function to create the neck of the swan, rhino told me either to use all closed curve or all open curve.

2.How to make a solid surface after cutting? The plane for holding the soap is not a solid object after I cut it.

3. Why my cursor couldn’t move freely as before? Today it only moved straight up and down.
